Challenge Accepted
I am excited to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge in Support of Make-A-Wish! I will be hiking and running 28.3 miles on October 11, 2025 alongside my wife, Ashley, on the Foothills Trail outside of Cashiers, NC. We are doing the challenge as part of “Team Roan Strong” with a goal of raising at least $6000 between the two of us. As parents of a child who has been granted a wish through Make-A-Wish, we know how important and impactful these wishes are for these kids and their families. Did you know that Make-A-Wish has granted more than 550,000 wishes around the world? That’s a lot, yes. But right now, for every wish that comes true, two more children with critical illnesses are waiting for theirs to be granted because Make-A-Wish lacks the necessary funding.
