 Ronald J. Neimkin, MD received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell University Medical College, New York. General surgery and orthopaedic surgery residencies were completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina and at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He completed his hand surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Neimkin was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Alabama Medical School from 1982 until 1985. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. Dr. Neimkin received his Certification of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand in 1989. He is an Assistant Consulting Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He is an active member of both the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Neimkin was recognized as one of America’s top surgeons in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Dr. Neimkin, along with Dr. Gregory J. Dray, founded Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine, PA in November of 1987. |
