Carolina Hand Surgery Associates, P.A. was established in 1987 by Dr. Gregory J. Dray and Dr. Ronald J. Neimkin. Dr. Dray left the field of Hand Surgery in 1997 to pursue a career in Psychiatry. Dr. Bruce Minkin and Dr. James Thompson joined the practice in 1990, Dr. Christopher Lechner came aboard in 1993 and Dr. Gene Thornburg joined us in 1997. After practicing at Mountain Neurological Associates for over 20 years, Dr. Terry McGhee joined Carolina Hand Surgery Associates in 2004. Dr. Jesse (Jay) West joined the practice in August 2009 after completing an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. In October 2009 the practice name changed to Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine, P.A. Steve Jones, Practice Administrator, has worked in the healthcare field for the past 27 years, most recently as the Regional Operations Director for DaVita Dialysis. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Masters in Business Administration while following a busy career path to Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine, PA as the Practice Administrator. |
